Are you looking for an exciting opportunity working for a Global Technology Leader At Aviat Networks we take great pride in hiring a workforce that is committed to supporting and strengthening our values and attributes If you are a results-oriented customer centric and innovative thinker who also takes pride in personal and professional integrity Aviat Networks is the ideal next step in your career We are looking for people who love to solve problems enjoy change and know how to have fun so come and join a dynamic team that strives to bring communications to the world Aviat Networks is the world s largest independent supplier of wireless transmission systems We are recognized worldwide for cutting-edge 5G backhaul networking solutions and services Customers in more than 135 countries depend on Aviat Networks to build expand and upgrade their voice data and video solutions We currently have an immediate need for a Project Engineer based in Gurgaon India About the Role The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the Customer s Bharti Airtel Project Manager and field installation teams to ensure projects are completed according to project plans Other duties will include project planning implementation troubleshooting and monitoring Also prepares project status reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information Responsibilities Project coordination and supervision of assigned region including project delivery acceptance troubleshooting and revenue recognition related support Governance and provide support to subcontractor teams in the implementation of the project within stipulated timeframe Project coordination with Customer s proponents and Aviat Project Team Coordination and supervision of logistics of material Supervise subcontractor teams to make sure that all installations follow Customer s and Aviat Engineering Standards compliances OHS guidelines Provide Daily weekly Monthly Yearly progress report to Project Management Team of customer as well as internal stakeholders management Escalate issues keep informed advise and receive instructions and obtain the work group perspective and share information Deliver the projects and assigned tasks within the targeted timelines Customer s Project Proponents - coordination Dashboarding reporting and other project management related activities as per customer project requirement Process re-engineering and automation drives to have timely errorless real time and automated reports availability to management and customer s Support in troubleshooting activities and other technical related concerns as per requirements Qualifications Competencies Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related field Master s degree preferred Proven experience 8-10 years in executing microwave deployment projects execution excellence operational planning and maintenance of MW Network ideally within the telecommunications or network infrastructure sectors Customer Handling Team management Partner governance and Strong Analytical skill are a must Strong understanding of microwave communication principles RF engineering and microwave equipment antennas radios waveguides etc Proficiency in microwave path design tools Pathloss iBwave spectrum analyzers and network analyzers Experience with project management methodologies and tools e g PMI Agile MS Project Primavera waterfall Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Project Management Professional PMP certification or equivalent is a plus Willing to work extended hours We encourage you to read our You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time To do this you can email us at privacy aviatnet com Aviat Networks provides equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees The Company does not discriminate against applicants or employees on the basis of race color sex age national origin religion sexual orientation gender identity veteran or military status disability or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal state or local law Aviat Networks offers a competitive benefits package Apply NOW to learn more
