About the Role OSTTRA IndiaThe Role SQA EngineerThe Team The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals who build support and protect the applications that operate our network The technology landscape includes high-performance high-volume applications as well as compute intensive applications leveraging contemporary microservices cloud-based architectures The Impact Together we build support protect and manage high-performance resilient platforms that process more than 100 million messages a day Our services are vital to automated trade processing around the globe managing peak volumes and working with our customers and regulators to ensure the efficient settlement of trades and effective operation of global capital markets What s in it for you We are seeking to identify a QA Analyst candidate with at least 5 years experience in a structured testing organization in order to meet the needs of our client This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a Global Fintech Industry and work with colleagues across multiple regions globally Responsibilities Responsible for executing testing engagements as per approach plan opportunities functional automation by working closely with test lead managerConceptualize solutions present deliver Work as per process risk management testing delivery defining KPI s KRA s Exposure to test management tools like JIRA etc Work closely with product team to understand the requirements from business perspectiveCore delivery to Execute automated and functional test cases review test results and report defects Coordinate with Product and QA teams to ensure the specifications are implemented in Gherkin format and thus easier implementation to BDD automation framework Design and write maintainable automated feature scripts using Java Cucumber Gherkin and functional manual tests Writing SQL queriesMaintenance of UI automation tests for a complex web mobile standalone application in a timely fashionMaintenance of backend automation framework and testsAble to work as a domain SME for the team aExtensive coordination with product and Dev team on requirement gaps and functional issues resolutionCoordination with the Performance test team to provide the necessary functional details What We re Looking For Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodologies preferably Agile modelsExposure in designing Testing frameworks Serenity Cucumber Junit etc Exposure to varied application stacks like MQ or KafkaUnderstanding Hands-on experience of Investment Banking DomainGood understanding of Financial ProductsUnderstanding of schema designing XML messaging MQ s assisting BA functionsTrade Lifecycle Workflow UnderstandingA programming experience preferably in JavaTesting Certifications -
