Summary A Resort Receptionist greets and assists guests manages reservations processes payments and provides information about resort amenities and services They are the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience during their stay Key Responsibilities Guest Check-in Check-out Welcome guests verify reservations assign rooms collect payments and assist with check-out procedures Reservation Management Manage online phone and in-person reservations including bookings cancellations and modifications Information and Assistance Provide information about resort facilities services local attractions and transportation Customer Service Address guest inquiries requests and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner Financial Transactions Process payments handle cash and maintain accurate records of transactions Communication Answer phones take messages and relay information between guests and other resort departments Administrative Tasks Maintain guest records manage files and assist with other administrative duties as needed Required Skills Customer Service Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills Computer Skills Proficiency in using hotel management software including reservation systems and point-of-sale systems Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize duties and maintain accurate records Mathematical Skills Accuracy in handling cash and processing payments Polite and Professional Demeanor Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with guests The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure Strong IT skills and knowledge of booking systems and software like IDS Hotel Logics or PMS etc Excellent administration and organisational skills Experience Education A suitable candidate must be graduate with 3 years of experience in receptionist role in any good resort or Hotel
