Manager - Supply Chain Data Science Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager to join our Supply Chain and Manufacturing Practice combining deep data science expertise with supply chain domain knowledge This role involves engaging with Supply Chain Leaders globally to define analytical solutions that drive process optimization predictive insights and strategic decision-making across the supply chain ecosystem Experience Requirements Master s degree with 6 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Analytics Data Science with 7 years of experience overall OR Graduate degree with 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Analytics Data Science with 9 years of experience overall Job Location Primary Location Bangalore India Additional Locations Chennai Pune NCR Kolkata offices flexible based on candidate preference Key Responsibilities Client Engagement Leadership Lead 1-3 client engagements simultaneously ranging from 4-6 week high-intensity pilots to 3-6 month full-scale solution implementations Interface with global Supply Chain Leaders to identify analytical needs and solution requirements Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverable standards Translate complex supply chain challenges into data-driven analytical frameworks Team Leadership Project Management Lead and mentor teams of highly motivated Analysts Senior Analysts and Engineers Maintain complete command over project status and deliverables Demonstrate hands-on leadership by actively contributing to technical solutions when needed Drive last-mile adoption through effective change management strategies Data Science Analytics Design and implement advanced analytics solutions for supply chain optimization Build predictive models for demand forecasting inventory optimization and supply planning Develop machine learning algorithms for procurement analytics transportation optimization and production planning Create repeatable analytical tools and data models to solve specific business problems Apply statistical methods and operations research techniques to complex supply chain challenges Technical Solution Architecture Design sustainable scalable and self-serve analytical solutions for clients Oversee development of data pipelines and ETL processes for supply chain data Ensure integration of analytical solutions with existing supply chain software and modules Drive adoption of cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data architectures Required Qualifications Supply Chain Domain Expertise Deep expertise in 1 supply chain functions procurement transportation manufacturing etc Broad exposure across the SC value chain Procurement Inbound Logistics Production Inventory Demand Planning Outbound Logistics Retailing Ability to hold independent conversations with clients and drive discussions through clear communication Working knowledge of various supply chain solutions and software modules Data Science Analytical Skills Programming Languages Advanced proficiency in Python R for statistical modeling and machine learning Database Management Strong SQL skills for complex data querying and manipulation Data Processing Experience with Excel SQL Alteryx or similar platforms Machine Learning Hands-on experience with supervised unsupervised learning time series forecasting optimization algorithms Visualization Proficiency in Tableau PowerBI or similar platforms for executive-level reporting Statistics Strong foundation in applied mathematics statistics and operations research Big Data Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and big data technologies Leadership Consulting Skills Process Consulting Ability to understand root causes and design complex analytical solutions Program Management Experience managing end-to-end solution delivery and adoption Product Management Capability to design repeatable solution assets and
