and Technology CIT Legal team that provides a range of legal services and advice across the Barclays Group at the cutting edge of law innovation and regulation You will advise on a range of commercial and technology agreement work-types - supplier client and partner facing including regulatory aspects partnering with a variety of stakeholders including Barclays xc3 xa2 xc2 x80 xc2 x99 Procurement and Technology teams and front-line business teams You will need to be a dynamic qualified lawyer Solicitor Barrister or equivalent in another comparable jurisdiction with relevant post-qualification experience in-house and or private practice and strong technical knowledge of and expertise in general commercial technologyagreements including experience in negotiating and advising on these agreements xc3 xa2 xc2 x80 xc2 x93 for example software licenses hardware and software maintenance SaaS and cloud services sponsorship professional services data and index licensing and PoCs xc3 x82 Experience in advising on these types of agreements as related to the financial services industry context will be an advantage but is not essential CIT values innovation and having a growth mindset xc2 x80 xc2 xa2Qualified lawyer with relevant experience working in the legal sector xc3 xa2 xc2 x80 xc2 xa2Strong common law jurisdiction experience English law or similar xc3 xa2 xc2 x80 xc2 xa2Strong technical knowledge and experience reviewing drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements xc3 xa2 xc2 x80 xc2 xa2Fluent English language reading writing speaking and listening Location xc3 x82 NoidaPurpose of the roleTo analyse and assess market trends competitor landscape and potential risks and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making Accountabilities Development and presentation of compelling strategic recommendations to senior management addressing key business challenges and opportunities Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of implemented strategies recommending adjustments as needed Communication of complex strategic information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders Identification and assessment of potential risks associated with the bank s strategic plans and recommend mitigation strategies Conducting in-depth research and analysis of internal and external data including market trends competitor analysis and economic forecasts Assistant Vice President Expectations Consult on complex issues providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies procedures in support of the control and governance agenda Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function Collaborate with other areas of work for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information internal and external sources such as procedures and practises in other areas teams companies etc to solve problems creatively and effectively Communicate complex information Complex information could include
