About the Role

We are seeking 13 - 20 years experienced Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) with a strong understanding of Oracle databases to lead our on-premises team. The ideal candidate will manage Run-The-Bank (RTB) processes including Vulnerability (VUL) remediation, Version & Infrastructure Testing (VITs), and system upgrades. The role requires close coordination with stakeholders and the cloud team to assess requirements and define enhancement strategies for both on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the on-prem Oracle database team, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of RTB processes (VUL, VITs, upgrades).
- Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and upgrade cycles for Oracle databases.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to identify which requirements should be implemented on-prem vs. cloud.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and drive process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager / Technical Manager in database environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (on-prem) including upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience managing RTB operations and leading technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project management expertise (Agile / Waterfall methodologies).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and hybrid setups preferred.

Nice to Have

- Oracle certification (OCP, OCA, etc.).
- Experience in IT risk, compliance, or security frameworks.
- Prior experience working with financial services or regulated environments.
