Engineering team within our Clinicals organization You will work with product owners and user experience designers to design and build solutions Position Summary Were looking for developers who want to work on challenging technology problems to create products that medical professionals and patients use every day We work with a mix of technologies but dont hire developers based on coding language interface that makes the interactions between these providers and the electronic health record as seamless as possible and elevates what the doctor needs to see when they need to see it This team is innovative passionate and driven by our mission to help make an impact Job Responsibilities Design and develop code on an agile team of Engineers a Scrum Master a Product Owner and Experience Designer Collaborate with team members to promote productivity and effectiveness share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization Develop knowledge and domain expertise Take ownership of what you and the team build and coordinate your efforts across the teams to ensure proper completion Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals Builds relationships with cross-functional team members Education Experience Skills Required 2-4 years of experience in a software development role Bachelors Degree or equivalent Proficient in at least one modern programming languages like Java relational databases with modern UI frameworks is helpful Knowledge of web technologies like HTML JavaScript and CSS Knowledge of Unix Linux RESTful API and various other technologies is helpful We work in Agile environment so any Agile experience or CI CD concepts is helpful About athenahealthHeres our vision
