Job Requirements:

Position: State Head - Sales

Industry: Oil & Gas

Work Experience: Prefer 10 years of experience in retail sales

Location: Guwahati, Assam

CTC: As per Industry Standards

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive overall sales strategy and execution for the North East region
- Take full ownership of regional sales targets and ensure consistent achievement
- Develop and implement plans to maximize market penetration and secure maximum market share
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the region Identify new channel partners, distributors, and business opportunities to expand the footprint
- Build strong relationships with key channel partners, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct regular market visits to understand ground realities and support the field team
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities

Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Persuasion and negotiation expertise
- Strong knowledge of the retail distribution model and regional market dynamics
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong leadership with strategic, analytical, and result-oriented decision-making skills
