Role Summary As a Junior System Administrator at Almuqeet Systems, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to ensure 24/7 uptime across systems and networks, contribute to automation and documentation, and provide hands-on support for server and network operations. Success in this role means: - Proactively maintaining stable, secure, and efficient IT systems - Rapidly resolving issues to minimize downtime - Supporting cross-functional teams with reliable system performance This position is vital to keeping Almuqeet’s global communication platforms running smoothly and securely. Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows systems - Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and security policies - Monitor and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, VLANs, LAN/WAN connectivity - Support and manage virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware) - Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness - Document configurations, changes, and procedures accurately - Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades and automation initiatives - Maintain system security and ensure 24×7 uptime for critical operations Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Experience: 1–2 years in System or Network Administration (internship or full-time) - Technical Skills: - Linux/Windows administration - Networking protocols and security fundamentals - Virtualization tools (Proxmox, VMware) - Backup and monitoring tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication - Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment Why Join Almuqeet Systems? - Work with a global leader in telecom and CPaaS solutions - Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-scale systems - Collaborative and growth-oriented work culture - Opportunities to advance within a rapidly expanding tech organization
