We help telecom operators and businesses simplify connectivity, enhance security, and scale efficiently through next-gen infrastructure and innovation.Role SummaryAs a Junior System Administrator at Almuqeet Systems, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to ensure 24/7 uptime across systems and networks, contribute to automation and documentation, and provide hands-on support for server and network operations.Success in this role means:- Proactively maintaining stable, secure, and efficient IT systems- Rapidly resolving issues to minimize downtime- Supporting cross-functional teams with reliable system performanceThis position is vital to keeping Almuqeet’s global communication platforms running smoothly and securely.Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows systems- Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and security policies- Monitor and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, VLANs, LAN/WAN connectivity- Support and manage virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware)- Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness- Document configurations, changes, and procedures accurately- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades and automation initiatives- Maintain system security and ensure 24×7 uptime for critical operationsQualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- Experience: 1–2 years in System or Network Administration (internship or full-time)- Technical Skills:- Linux/Windows administration- Networking protocols and security fundamentals- Virtualization tools (Proxmox, VMware)- Backup and monitoring tools- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent verbal and written communication- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environmentWhy Join Almuqeet Systems?- Work with a global leader in telecom and CPaaS solutions- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-scale systems- Collaborative and growth-oriented work culture- Opportunities to advance within a rapidly expanding tech organization
