About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Lead to guide a growing team of software engineers and help deliver scalable, high-impact solutions for the life sciences industry. As our engineering team grows, you'll play a key role in mentoring engineers, managing project delivery, and working closely with product and design teams to bring ideas to life.

At Collabrix, we use a modern tech stack including JavaScript (Node.js, React.js), Java, and AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB. We're also integrating AI-driven features and automation into our platform to improve decision-making and efficiency. A core part of our system is a private, permissioned blockchain that ensures data security, integrity, and traceability.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of full-stack engineers while fostering technical growth and accountability
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to plan and deliver new features aligned with business goals
- Take ownership of project execution from technical design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security through architectural guidance and code reviews
- Identify and address technical blockers to ensure timely delivery of product milestones
- Build a high-trust, collaborative team culture in line with company values
- Work with leadership to continuously evolve engineering processes, tools, and best practices as the team scales
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate high-quality software development and improve engineering efficiency

Technical Skills and Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a tech lead
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development using JavaScript (Node.js, React.js) and Java
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience deploying applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB)
- Deep experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
- experience in using AI/ML tools to enhance product capabilities or improve development workflows
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
- Exposure to enterprise domains such as supply chain, manufacturing, or life sciences is a plus

Work Schedule

We follow a six-day work model on alternate weeks to serve our global customers with agility and excellence.

Employees are expected to work on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month. This model helps us accelerate delivery timelines and maintain the high standards of quality our customers expect.
