YOUR FUTURE ROLE: Global Services Centre of Excellence- TaaS - Test Manager

- Lead the development of Oracle Consultings Validation and Testing services proposition, ensuring effective approach, frameworks and toolkits to deliver successful customer focused delivery and outcomes.
- Collaboration across Oracle Consulting region management to align Testing and Validation approach and services in customer engagements - ensuring effective customer engagement during implementation and during ongoing Cloud Application updates and releases.
- Collaboration with Consulting teams to ensure effective delivery across Systems Integration Testing, Functional Acceptance Testing and Solution Validation (User Acceptance Testing).
- Take a key role in building up and driving the Validation Services.
- Mature the Oracle Consulting Validation (Testing) skills and establish a customer focussed test management culture
- Lead by example and be a natural accepted mentor for the Oracle Consulting project managers.

Responsibilities

JD:

- Provide technical leadership and help drive cross-team test engineering efforts to build systems and services that improve operational efficiency, increase velocity of test timescales, and drive reliability, scale and performance.
- Establish and develop process and methodologies to meet and execute on test strategy.
- Possess modern DevOps mindset to delivering best in class SaaS and PaaS4SaaS applications by focusing on comprehensive testing (including automation) of end to end flows.
- Analyze and understand existing test coverage and automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance.
- Develop coding standards, procedures, and methodology for automated testing, working with other internal QA leaders, as well as functional and technical architects, to identify and align on best practices, incorporating the latest industry tools and technologies.
- Direct teams to create test plans, defining the test architecture, specifying positive and negative testing techniques, and addressing service functionality, monitoring, integration, performance, resiliency, security, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and/or design modern automated test techniques to update and upgrade existing manual and automated tests
- Drive end-to-end test automation, with automated test environment deployment, zero manual testing, and integrated, aggregated status reporting.
- Use Agile techniques to develop new capabilities and features for automated test harnesses and frameworks.
- Work with service development and release engineering to evolve the automated test portfolio usage in the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) flow.
