We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Husband and Wife teaching couple to join our residential school community This dual role requires one individual to hold a primary academic teaching position while both contribute significantly to the Hostel Warden duties providing continuous stable and responsible supervision for our boarding students One spouse will be designated the Primary Warden but both must participate fully in all residential and pastoral duties 1 Primary Faculty Responsibilities Designated Spouse This spouse will carry the standard teaching load based on their academic specialization e g PGT TGT or College Faculty Academic Instruction Plan prepare and deliver high-quality instruction in the designated subject area e g Science Maths Humanities Assessment Conduct formative and summative assessments grade papers and maintain accurate records of student academic progress Curriculum Ensure teaching methods and materials comply with the school s curriculum standards e g CBSE University guidelines Extra-Curricular Contribute to the school s co-curricular program through clubs sports or academic activities 2 Shared Residential Pastoral Responsibilities Both spouses are jointly accountable for the welfare safety and discipline of the hostel residents requiring a 24 7 on-campus presence during the term Student Welfare Serve in loco parentis ensuring the general health emotional well-being and nutritional needs of all students are met Discipline Security Jointly enforce hostel rules and regulations firmly and consistently Manage curfews bed checks and maintain a secure and disciplined environment Administrative Oversight Manage daily operations including student sign-in out leave requests maintenance reporting and managing the roster for support staff security housekeeping Counseling Mentorship Provide academic motivation personal counseling and guidance to students acting as positive role models Health Safety Manage minor ailments and first aid Coordinate with the school nurse administration for severe illnesses or injuries Conduct regular safety drills Activity Supervision Organize and supervise evening study halls weekend recreational activities and common area use 3 Required Qualifications and Skills Essential Qualifications For at least one spouse Academic Degree Master s or Bachelor s Degree in the primary teaching subject Teaching Certification Mandatory B Ed or equivalent qualification for the teaching role Experience Minimum 3-5 years of full-time teaching experience in a recognized school college Essential Qualifications For the couple Residential Commitment Both individuals must be legally married and willing to commit to full-time residential duties residing in the provided campus accommodation Prior Experience Previous experience as a Warden Assistant Warden residential teacher or managing large groups is highly desirable Key Skills and Attributes Stability Consistency Demonstrated ability to provide a stable balanced and consistent presence for students Teamwork Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage responsibilities collaboratively Crisis Management Proven ability to handle emergencies conflicts and disciplinary issues calmly and effectively Empathy and Firmness The ability to be compassionate and supportive while maintaining necessary structure and discipline Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 8 119 22 - 40 000 00 per month Education Master s Preferred Language English Required Work Location In person
