Software engineering Associate advisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software engineering Associate advisor

to join our growing technology team. This role demands deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems across cloud, backend, frontend, and data engineering platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong architectural vision and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, PostgreSQL Aurora, React (frontend UI), Python (FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), and Databricks.

As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in defining our technical strategy, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring that business requirements are transformed into innovative and robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions across cloud, backend, frontend, and data analytics systems.
- Develop scalable and secure APIs using FastAPI (Python) and Spring Boot (Java).
- Architect and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL Aurora.
- Design cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and IAM.
- Oversee frontend architecture using React, ensuring seamless user experience and integration with backend services.
- Guide the development of data pipelines and data engineering platforms using Databricks, Oracle Informatica.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, DevOps engineers, and technical leads to align on technical goals and deliverables.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and performance optimization.
- Define best practices, development standards, and ensure their adoption across teams.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across the tech stack.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

- 8 11 years of professional experience in software development and solution architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Strong experience designing and developing APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Java (Spring Boot).
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL Aurora.
- Proven experience in frontend UI development and architecture using React.
- Deep understanding of Databricks for data engineering, processing, and analytics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex technical environments.

Desired Experience:

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern software design patterns.
- Health care domain knowledge focus on Providers & networks.
- Experience in high-scale, distributed systems design.
