We are a global MNC headquartered out of Finland. We are one of the leaders in facility management services and we deal with manufacturing companies providing these services. We are specialists in textile services across industries like pharma, HORECA, Auto, food, electronics amongst others.

We are looking for a Manager Payroll & Compliance. Its an individual contributor role, reporting to HR Head India. Hybrid role with 2 days of WFO.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

- Payroll Processing:

Managing the entire payroll process, from salary calculations and deductions to timely and accurate payment of employees.

- Statutory Compliance:

Ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable labor laws and regulations, such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and tax laws.

- Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate employee records, including attendance, leave details, benefits information, and tax-related documents.

- Tax Management:

Preparing and filing all necessary tax documents and ensuring the timely payment of statutory dues to relevant authorities.

- Policy & System Maintenance:

Monitoring changes in labor laws and ensuring that the organization's payroll and HR policies and systems are updated accordingly.

- Reporting:

Generating reports on payroll transactions and other HR data for internal management and external authorities.

- Employee Support:

Resolving payroll-related queries and providing guidance to employees and other stakeholders on payroll and HR matters.

Required Skills

- Legal Knowledge:

Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to payroll and HR.

- Attention to Detail:

Crucial for ensuring accuracy in calculations, records, and compliance procedures.

- Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and statutory bodies.

- Analytical Skills:

To interpret data, reconcile discrepancies, and identify areas for improvement.

- Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in payroll processing systems and HR software.

Qualifications

- 7-10 years experience in handling payroll and compliance
- Should have manufacturing industry experience
- Skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management
- Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes
- Experience in managing Employee Benefits
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
