Job Title: Test Lead – Manual & API Testing Experience Required: 10+ Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Test Lead with a strong background in manual testing, API validation, and leading QA efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test planning and execution, a solid understanding of automation, and the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality software in fast-paced, agile environments. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and backend systems, focusing on functional, regression, and integration testing. - Act as a hands-on contributor, while driving organization-level QA initiatives and process improvements. - Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios aligned with business requirements and user stories. - Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Client. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test coverage. - Manage multiple concurrent projects, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines. - Conduct defect triage meetings, track and monitor issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering best practices in testing and documentation. - Participate actively in sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups). - Maintain and manage test environments and data for consistent, repeatable testing. - Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, metrics, and tools to enhance product quality. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in manual testing, including 3+ years in a lead capacity. - Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Rest Client). - Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, MTM, Quality Center, or Bugzilla. - Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a dynamic, startup-like setup. Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Rest Assured, etc.) is an advantage. - Experience with cross-browser and mobile app testing. - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
