Introduction We are seeking a motivated, persuasive, and result-oriented Telemarketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to a provided list of customers or businesses with the aim of promoting our products, setting appointments, or collecting relevant information. A pre-defined script or key talking points will be provided to help guide conversations, but you must be able to communicate naturally and confidently. This is a target-driven role that requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle objections professionally. Key Responsibilities 1. Outbound Calling & Customer Engagement Make outbound calls to a list of potential or existing customers to promote products or services. Use the provided script and talking points to ensure effective and consistent messaging. Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner to build rapport and encourage positive responses. Gather and verify customer information, including contact details, preferences, and feedback. 2. Product Promotion & Lead Generation Explain the features, benefits, and value of the products or services being promoted. Identify customer needs and suggest suitable products or services. Capture and qualify leads based on pre-defined eligibility criteria. Forward qualified leads to the sales team or schedule appointments where required. 3. Appointment Setting & Follow-Ups Arrange appointments for potential customers with the sales team when necessary. Follow up with interested prospects to maintain engagement and improve conversion rates. Update the customer database with the latest information after each interaction. 4. Achieving Targets & KPIs Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call quotas and performance benchmarks. Maintain a minimum conversion ratio as defined by management. Strive to achieve targets related to: Number of calls made per day Number of appointments booked Number of successful sales or lead conversions Data collection accuracy 5. Compliance & Customer Privacy Follow all legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines while making calls. Adhere to Do Not Disturb (DND) and Do Not Call (DNC) lists strictly. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information and company data. Ensure that every interaction aligns with the company’s policies and professional standards. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for updating and managing customer data. Familiarity with telecalling software or call center systems will be an advantage. Ability to learn about company products and services quickly to handle customer queries effectively. Soft Skills Excellent Communication: Clear, confident, and polite speaking skills in English and local languages. Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to influence potential customers and convert leads into opportunities. Listening Skills: Understand customer needs and respond appropriately. Patience & Professionalism: Maintain composure when handling objections or challenging conversations. Result-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets. Adaptability: Handle different customer scenarios and adjust conversation strategies accordingly. Educational Qualifications Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
