Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) division. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in energy storage technologies, system integration, and project execution, along with leadership abilities to guide technical teams and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of BESS projects from concept to commissioning.
- Provide technical leadership on battery chemistries (e.g., Li-ion, LFP, solid-state, flow batteries), power electronics, and system integration with renewable energy and grid infrastructure.
- Oversee project feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and system sizing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with utilities, EPC contractors, and technology providers.
- Develop strategies for O&M (operation & maintenance), performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
- Stay ahead of emerging storage technologies, market trends, and policies to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or related power/utility sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in BESS system design, integration, and commissioning (utility-scale preferred).
- Strong understanding of grid codes, safety standards, and energy markets.
- Hands-on experience with EMS (Energy Management Systems), SCADA, and controls.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
