Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

- Troubleshooting:

Solving network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions using Juniper devices and technologies.

- Implementation:

Configuring and deploying Juniper devices and solutions, ensuring they meet network requirements.

- Support:

Providing technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing questions and resolving problems.

- Network Knowledge:

Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), network security concepts, and Juniper-specific technologies.

- Juniper-Specific Expertise:

Experience with Juniper devices like ScreenOS and JUNOS, understanding of network management tools (FCAPS, SNMP), and experience with scripting (Shell, Python).

- Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze complex network problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

- Customer Interaction:

Working with customers to understand their network needs and provide solutions.

- Continuous Learning:

Staying updated on the latest Juniper technologies and trends.

- Experience:Typically 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Juniper technologies.
- Education:A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
- Certifications:Juniper certifications (JNCIA-J, JNCIE-ENT, etc.) are often a plus.

- Implementing and optimizing BGP routing protocols.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and performance problems.
- Providing technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Developing and implementing network automation scripts.
