Job Description Role: Power BI Administration Location: Pan India Experience: 5-8 Years Mode: 24/7 Support (L2) Notice Period Preference: Immediate to 30 Days Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Power BI Administration to manage, administer, and support enterprise-wide Power BI environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI Service, Gateway, Report Server, and hands-on experience in administration, monitoring, automation, and ITIL-based incident management. Key Skills & Expertise: - Hands-on experience with Power BI Administration (Power BI Service, Gateway, Report Server) - Strong understanding of Power BI architecture, licensing models, and security - Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling - Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD / SSO integration - Proficiency in monitoring and automation using PowerShell or REST APIs - Must be comfortable working in a 24/7 L2 Support model - Meticulous problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities - Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills - Experience working in ITIL processes (ServiceNow, Control-M or similar) - Experience in leading a team of 5+ members - Strong understanding of ITIL process metrics - Banking domain experience preferred - Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders Roles & Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain Power BI environments including Power BI Service, Gateway, and Report Server - Manage user access, workspaces, roles, and permissions for secure and efficient data sharing - Monitor system performance, usage metrics, and troubleshoot issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards - Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration of Power BI Gateway and Report Server - Collaborate with BI developers and business teams to publish, share, deploy, and schedule reports - Implement governance best practices: dataset certification, naming conventions, workspace management - Integrate Power BI with enterprise data sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle, etc.) - Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, operating procedures, and best practices - Provide L2 support, incident resolution, RCA, and SLA adherence - Mentor and guide junior team members
