Role Overview The Costing Estimation Engineer will handle cost analysis and quotation preparation for precision-machined components and sheet metal parts The role requires strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes accurate cost calculation skills and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for competitive estimations Key Responsibilities Review engineering drawings BOMs and technical requirements for cost estimation Estimate cost for precision components CNC VMC turning grinding wirecut EDM and sheet metal parts laser cutting punching bending welding finishing assembly Prepare cost sheets quotation breakups and proposal documents Calculate material usage machining hours tooling labor and overheads Coordinate with suppliers vendors to obtain material and subcontracting costs Support Sales Business Development in responding to RFQs with accurate costings Maintain a cost database for standard machining and sheet metal processes Identify cost optimization and material utilization improvements Prepare MIS reports and costing presentations for management Skills Competencies Knowledge of precision machining sheet metal fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD T Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost calculations Proficiency in MS Excel Word PowerPoint ERP knowledge preferred Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 14 725 33 - 46 173 67 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Work Location In person
