Job Profile Direct Tax AssociateLocation AhmedabadExperience 1-3 YearsQualification CA Finalist Qualified CASalary 45K-60K CTCJoining Immediate 7-10 Days Direct Tax Associate - First-Time Tax ImplementationTransfer Pricing IFRS TAXS Litigation Advisory ConsultancyKey points -1 Have worked at least for 2 years in Corporate Tax2 Drafted opinions and advisory e-mails on corporate tax issues3 Have prepared power point presentations 4 Have basic knowledge on Transfer Pricing and International tax 5 Can communicate fluently in English 6 Have good skills of Microsoft office Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Direct Tax Associate to join our team and play a key role in the first-time implementation of direct tax strategies The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant tax processes as we navigate initial tax planning and implementation Key Responsibilities 1 Tax Planning and Strategy Implementation oCollaborate with the tax and finance teams to understand business operations and goals oAssist in developing and implementing initial direct tax planning strategies oEnsure that tax strategies align with the organization s objectives and comply with applicable laws 2 Data Analysis and Preparation oWork with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data for tax analysis oAssist in preparing documentation and reports required for the first-time tax implementation oVerify data accuracy and completeness to support tax planning and compliance efforts 3 Compliance Support oAssist in preparing and filing initial direct tax returns in compliance with regulations oStay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact implementation oCollaborate with senior tax professionals to address any compliance issues that may arise 4 Training and Communication oProvide support in communicating tax strategies and changes to internal stakeholders oOffer training and guidance to other departments on the implementation of new tax processes oAddress queries and concerns related to the first-time tax implementation 5 Documentation and Record-Keeping oMaintain organized and up-to-date records of the first-time tax implementation process oEnsure documentation is readily available for internal and external audit purposes oAssist in preparing materials for any necessary reporting or documentation requirements 6 Transfer Pricing Compliance oConduct detailed transfer pricing analyses to ensure compliance with applicable regulations oPrepare and document transfer pricing policies ensuring alignment with international standards oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for transfer pricing documentation
