Job Description We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Director to lead our Global Banking, IFRS Impairment Product & Valuation Control functions. This senior leadership role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and people management capabilities. Description Key Responsibilities: - Lead Product & Valuation Control for Global Banking and IFRS impairment. - Oversee daily P&L and balance sheet controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Manage revenue recognition under IFRS9/15 and regulatory requirements. - Supervise Independent Price Verification (IPV) for loans and equities. - Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across front office, risk, and treasury. - Lead projects, process improvements, and audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. - Mentor and develop high-performing control teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Profile A successful Director - Global Banking, IFRS Impairment Product & Valuation Control should have: - 13+ years in Product Control, Valuation Control, or Financial Control within banking or financial services. - Strong hands-on expertise in IFRS impairment, IPV, P&L/BS control, and revenue recognition. - Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery experience. - Professional certifications preferred: CPA, CFA, ACA/CA, ACCA.
