Kontempore an initiative of KIIT KISS started its journey as a knowledge management company and has transformed itself into a Digital Company which deals with knowledge leadership and business solution The name Kontempore is drawn from the words contemporary and relevant in a movement Organizations are going to go through huge talent transformation in next one decade because of automation digitization artificial intelligence etc Type of talent industry required and opportunity industry provided in the past will go through huge transition with more part-time contractual and consulting jobs We are really excited to tap into your tremendous experience in this journey which can make a big difference Kontempore aims to bring industry professionals together to explore evolve and co-create a next-generation talent management plan We also aim to bring different stakeholders like academia industry consulting bodies and government organizations together to evolve a holistic change management agenda The RoleJob Title Supply and Demand Planning Professional FMCG Food Industry Location Thane Mumbai On-site Experience 2-10 yearsIndustry Supply Chain FMCG Food BeverageJob Overview We are looking for an experienced Supply and Demand Planning Professional with experience in FMCG Food industry or has managed FMCG Food company client This role involves managing demand forecasting and supply chain planning working closely with client teams and ensuring high planning accuracy and KPI achievement Key Responsibilities Demand Forecasting Planning Analyze client industry trends to capture demand signals and develop accurate forecasts Implement machine learning models to improve forecasting accuracy Conduct S OP meetings with clients to finalize demand plans and monitor forecast impact on budgets Collaborate with product development and category teams for new SKU launches Supply Planning Inventory Management Drive improvements in inventory control and replenishment processes to maintain stock levels Standardize inventory planning across distribution centers and vendors Use historical data to monitor demand variability avoiding stock-outs or overstocking Assess vendor service levels and manage inventory shelf-life Client Team Management Plan and manage both demand and supply planning functions within a centralized structure Work closely with client teams to ensure smooth execution of daily weekly and monthly plans Address and resolve customer complaints in coordination with central teams Qualifications MBA PGDM with an Engineering background preferred Bachelors or Masters in related fields also acceptable 2-10 years of experience in Demand Forecasting Supply Chain Planning Inventory Management within the Supply Chain FMCG Food Beverages or Cloud Kitchen sectors Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting tools R Python preferred Strong team management and client interaction skills Skills and Competencies Planning and analytical skills Customer-centric approach Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in inventory management practices Strong commercial acumen and results orientation Note Candidates should currently reside in Mumbai Ideal ProfileQualifications MBA PGDM with an Engineering background preferred Bachelors or Masters in related fields also acceptable 2-10 years of experience in Demand Forecasting Supply Chain Planning Inventory Management within the FMCG or Food Beverages sector Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting tools R Python preferred Strong team management and client interaction skills What s on Offer Work alongside learn from best in class talent A role that offers a breadth of learning opportunities Kontempore
