The Job

Our client is looking for an experienced Supply and Demand Planning Professional with experience in FMCG/Food industry or has managed FMCG/Food company client. This role involves managing demand forecasting and supply chain planning, working closely with client teams, and ensuring high planning accuracy and KPI achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting & Planning:

  • Analyze client industry trends to capture demand signals and develop accurate forecasts.
  • Implement machine learning models to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Conduct S&OP meetings with clients to finalize demand plans and monitor forecast impact on budgets.
  • Collaborate with product development and category teams for new SKU launches.

Supply Planning & Inventory Management:

  • Drive improvements in inventory control and replenishment processes to maintain stock levels.
  • Standardize inventory planning across distribution centers and vendors.
  • Use historical data to monitor demand variability, avoiding stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Assess vendor service levels and manage inventory shelf-life.

Client & Team Management:

  • Plan and manage both demand and supply planning functions within a centralized structure.
  • Work closely with client teams to ensure smooth execution of daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in coordination with central teams.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM with an Engineering background preferred, Bachelor's or Master's in related fields also acceptable.
  • 2-10 years of experience in Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management within the Supply Chain, FMCG, Food & Beverages, or Cloud Kitchen sectors.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting tools (R, Python preferred).
  • Strong team management and client interaction skills.

Note: Candidates should currently reside in Mumbai.

The Profile

Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM with an Engineering background preferred, Bachelor's or Master's in related fields also acceptable.
