Responsibilities Your Role: - Overall leadership and coaching of staff including Managers, Supervisors and their direct reports. - Oversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals - Create and maintain acceptable service levels for key areas of responsibility - Create an environment of co-operation and initiative through appropriate delegation, empowerment, training and motivation. - Anticipate and resolve work concerns and exercise sound judgment to make appropriate adjustments. - Contribute to the roll out and success of the Global processing initiative, working closely with colleagues in multiple locations globally. - Assess areas of risk on each team and within the department and implement processes to address areas of concern. - Identify opportunities to enhance technology and automate procedures to limit or eliminate manual processes. - Assist in the developing a global forum dedicated to sharing best practices and improving processing standards. Qualifications About You: - Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics or any related course - 7+ years experience in Financial Services, preferably in an Investor Relations / Transfer Agency Environment with technical knowledge of Transfer Agency functions, such as share dealing, client reporting, cash processing, fee rebates and distributions across different fund types. - 5+ years experience managing people - Financial/trading/banking experience or knowledge of Hedge/Mutual Funds an advantage - A good understanding of Anti Money Laundering Requirements of local Regulator and Bank Policy and excellent awareness of Fraud prevention, Compliance requirements and operational risk areas - Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
