JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title - Manager Accounting Department - Global Finance Operations SUMMARY OF POSITION As Manager Accounting you will be part of the Columbus Global Finance Operations team and you will be overall responsible for accounting reporting of the legal entities assigned You will be responsible for ensuring that all end-to-end accounting processes are performed timely and with high quality through our internal process teams AR AP Payroll Project control License Processing and you will also have your own operational accounting responsibilities including general ledger accounting month-end closing financial reporting to Group Finance reconciliations and tax filings both income tax and sales tax Furthermore you will be responsible for co-ordination with auditors advisors and local authorities as well as other internal teams and stakeholders in Columbus You will be based out of our Columbus India entity in Hyderabad where you will report directly to our Director of Global Finance Operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Chartered Accountant 7 years of working experience in US MNCs Fluent in English oral and written Proficient in MS office tools JOB DESCRIPTIONS Have a deep understanding of Accounting processes Guide Support Train the accounting team and other Finance team members Co-ordinate with BU leadership other shared services teams Group Finance Business Finance partners other Global Finance Operations AP AR payroll project control teams for regular day to day activities Responsible for month-end closing and reporting as per the published timelines Reconciliation of all Balance sheet accounts Analysis of P L movements Budget Vs Forecast Vs Actuals Intercompany reconciliations payments Ensuring timely sales tax payments return filings Annual closing activities like financials audits tax other statutory filings in co-ordination with consultants Ensure timely reporting and compliance both internal and external Redefining standardizing improvising documenting the processes SOPs Automation of repetitive process through available tools and systems Ensure the highest quality and accuracy in accounting reporting Support guide the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to operate effectively Actively participate contribute in D365 testing process improvements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS Must Haves Accountability Responsibility Quality and service minded Good Communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Must have experience in leading medium sized teams Good understanding and exposure to USGAAP IFRS reporting Nice to Haves Worked in the following systems Dynamics AX Dynamics 365 Finance Operations Teams MS office Share point One stream Power BI etc Experience in analysis of huge volumes of
