What Work You Will be Responsible For:

- Understand general accounting and assurance procedures based on the level of service provided
- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with Client's Service Standards
- Identify and communicate accounting and assurance matters to other engagement team members
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
- Direct communication with clients
- Supervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)
- Participate in the budget process
- All other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Background/Skills

- CA / CPA designation (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree
- A minimum of 3 years to 4 years of current and or recent assurance experience in public accounting
- Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment
- Excellent supervisory, analytical and leadership ability
- Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strict adherence to professional ethics.
- Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.

Working Conditions

- Office location - Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Core working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST, working from office.
- Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
- Ability to sit for long periods of time during busy season
- Ability to move throughout office
- Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc
- Reporting to Manager or Partner of Assurance Services
