▷ (High Salary) Manager - Bank Debt Settlements

Job Description The Manager position in Bank Debt Settlements is responsible for the settlement of bank loan trades across multiple investment strategies including working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the full settlements cycle, escalation of trade discrepancies, CLO cash management, corporate action resolution, and aged settlement escalation. scope and responsibilities - Ensure bank loan trades and transfers are settled expeditiously by working closely with agents and counterparties including following up and escalating with parties routinely to complete all settlement requirements. - Review and sign all trade related workflows in ClearPar from confirmation and assignment to funding - Review exceptions such as unallocated trades, mismatched trades due to trade differences (quantity, price, identifier, etc.), and address complex pop-up questions - Forecast settlement timing based on the status of each trade and agent and counterparty track records. - Coordinate with Corporate Actions team and trade counterparties on amendment processing and other corporate action events - Ensure trade related cash requirements are communicated accurately to Cash Management, Accounting, and Front office teams to ensure cash availability for trade settlements - Minimize forfeited delayed compensation - Research and resolve trade-related reconciliation breaks and understand and record root causes. Experience Required - 5+ years working in the bank loan sector - Solid understanding of the LSTA and LMA Primary and Secondary standard terms and conditions including delayed compensation requirements for both lenders and agent banks - Experience with the CLO warehousing process, lead times, blackout procedures, and CLO cash management - Track record in leading or participating in process improvement initiatives - Proficiency in using ClearPar - Experience using Geneva and AllVue Everest or other Order Management Systems - Distressed loan closing experience a plus personal attributes - Must have outstanding initiative and be a self-starter - Demonstrate non-linear thinking and have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks - Collaborative, team-oriented individual with strong sense of integrity and professionalism Education A bachelor's degree is required.
