Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Development & Lead Generation: Identify New Opportunities: Actively research and identify new business opportunities within the wholesale and distribution channels across Canada. Prospecting: Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential customers in sectors such as retail, construction, hospitality, architecture, and commercial industries. Cold Calling & Outreach: Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and networking events to introduce the company’s LED lighting solutions and arrange meetings. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with wholesale customers, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction. Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of customer requirements, offering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs. Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts, working to retain and expand customer base through strong, proactive engagement and excellent service. 3. Sales Strategy & Negotiation: Pricing & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, including pricing, product recommendations, and project timelines. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and achieving profitability goals. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s growth and revenue objectives. 4. Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s LED lighting products, technical specifications, and benefits to effectively present and promote them to clients. Technical Consultations: Provide technical guidance and support to clients on product specifications, installation, energy savings, and compliance with industry standards. Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site product demonstrations or virtual presentations for clients, showcasing product quality, features, and advantages. 5. Market Analysis & Reporting: Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the LED lighting market to identify new opportunities and keep the product offering competitive. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities through CRM software. Forecasting: Provide sales forecasts and report on pipeline status, sales performance, and any barriers to achieving targets. 6. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordination with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, trade show strategies, and online campaigns targeting wholesale clients. Product Feedback: Provide valuable feedback from clients to the product development team to help improve existing products or introduce new product lines.
