Job Description Company Description In stealth mode, we are building India's largest networking platform for students. Role Description We're seeking a visionary Tech Co-Founder to join our founding team and lead the technical development of Skewler's platform. You'll be responsible for building scalable infrastructure to serve 250+ educational institutions and 150,000+ students in our first year, while architecting a platform capable of reaching millions of users across India. The Co-Founder (Tech) will be responsible for leading the company's technology strategy, overseeing the development and implementation of tech projects, and ensuring the scalability and security of the platform. Day-to-day tasks include managing and mentoring the tech team, collaborating with other departments to align tech goals with business objectives, and staying up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends. Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end product development from MVP to scale (supporting our 40% product development budget allocation) - Architect scalable cloud-native infrastructure for student profiles, networking, and institutional management - Design and implement AI/ML systems for student matching and content moderation - Build secure, GDPR-compliant platform handling sensitive educational data - Recruit and lead a world-class engineering team (utilizing our 30% team growth budget) - Drive technology roadmap and architectural decisions for long-term scalability - Ensure platform can handle India's 260+ million student population at scale Qualifications - 7+ years in full-stack development with expertise in modern web technologies - Proven experience building scalable platforms serving 100K+ users - Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices architecture - Experience with AI/ML implementation, particularly in matching algorithms and content systems - Proven leadership and team management experience - In-depth knowledge of software development, architecture, and scaling - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
