Junior Software Developer

Bsc in Computer Science/IT or BCAAssist in the design, development, and testing of web  Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers Participate in code reviews and team meetings Troubleshoot and debug existing applications Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends Key Responsibilities Software Development & Customization Assist in designing, coding, and testing hospital management software and applications. Work on modules such as patient registration, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, appointment scheduling, and EMR integration. Customize existing applications based on the hospital's operational requirements. Application Maintenance & Support Provide day-to-day technical support for hospital staff using healthcare applications. Troubleshoot software bugs, errors, and system performance issues. Ensure smooth functioning of applications during peak hospital operations. Database Management Assist in managing hospital databases for patient information, billing records, and medical reports. Write SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with hospital IT security policies. System Integration Support integration of different hospital systems such as HMS, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Pharmacy Management Systems, and Radiology Information Systems (RIS). Work with APIs and middleware to connect internal and third-party healthcare applications. Testing & Quality Assurance Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Identify bugs, document test cases, and collaborate with senior developers for solutions. Ensure applications meet healthcare quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Collaboration with Hospital Departments Work closely with doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and IT teams to understand software requirements. Provide user training for hospital employees on new features or systems. Document workflows and create user guides for hospital software. Security & Compliance Follow hospital IT security protocols to protect sensitive patient information. Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations like HIPAA (if international) or NABH guidelines (in India). Implement basic cybersecurity measures for hospital applications. Continuous Learning & Innovation Stay updated on healthcare IT trends such as AI in diagnostics, telehealth solutions, IoT-based monitoring, and mobile health apps.
