PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in Azure, Azure DevOps, Java, Kubernetes, Monitoring, Dynatrace, Elastic Search, Mongo db . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while driving automation and best practices across our infrastructure and applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems on Azure and contribute to on prem setup strategies.
- Work with Portfolio Architects and DevOps Leads to investigate critical performance issues and perform L3 kind of role for the platform side.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal deployment strategies and resource utilization.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Java for automation and system integration tasks.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE

- At least 8+ years of experience in deployment, support, and management of application and infrastructure systems, including Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience implementing scalable, secure, and highly available systems, with involvement in multiple full lifecycle implementations.

- Formal project management training is desirable.

- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, and performance optimization of complex systems.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.

- Proficiency in Java programming for backend development and automation; knowledge of Python, Go, or Bash scripting is a plus.

- Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and containerization technologies.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, and Elastic Search.

- Solid understanding of networking, security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and high availability architectures.

- Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions.

- Ability to develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).

- Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash scripting.

- Knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with database management (SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions.
