Job Title: OT NurseLocation: Nalpada, ThaneExperience: 1-3 years (Operation Theatre)Salary: As per industry standardsJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled OT Nurse to provide assistance during surgical procedures, maintain sterility, and ensure proper patient care before, during, and after operations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients and OT for surgical proceduresAssist surgeons during operations with instruments and equipmentMaintain sterile field and follow infection control protocolsMonitor patient vitals during proceduresHandle pre-operative and post-operative nursing careEnsure OT supplies and instruments are available and sterilizedRequirements:GNM/B.Sc Nursing with valid registrationMinimum 1 year of OT experience preferredStrong knowledge of OT protocols and aseptic techniquesGood communication and coordination skillsSkills and Competencies: 1. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and OT protocols. Knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with different surgical procedures across general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and more. 2. Clinical Skills: Ability to monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies. Proficient in patient positioning, wound dressing, and pre/post-operative care. Skilled in the use of monitors, suction machines, cautery machines, and other OT equipment. 3. Communication and Teamwork: Clear communication skills to coordinate with doctors, nurses, and technical staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Professional behavior and empathy toward patients and their families. 4. Attention to Detail: High level of concentration and accuracy in recording information and handling surgical instruments. Ability to follow complex procedures and protocols precisely. 5. Time Management and Organization: Efficient in managing multiple cases or surgeries within a day.
