Job Description Location: Head Office Gurugram We are seeking an experienced Civil, Structural, and Buildings Estimator with a strong background in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates, managing tender processes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support major industrial facility projects. Key Responsibilities Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-offs: Develop accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment across foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and non-process buildings. Document Analysis: Review tender packages, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project scope and requirements. Bid & Proposal Management: Prepare detailed bid proposals, coordinate vendor/subcontractor pricing, and participate in bid evaluations and negotiations. Risk Management: Identify scope gaps, market risks, and constructability challenges; propose mitigation strategies. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project management, and construction teams to ensure technical alignment and resolve scope issues. Cost Data & Value Engineering: Maintain unit rate databases, analyze cost trends, and support value engineering and cost-control initiatives. Compliance: Ensure all estimates adhere to applicable codes and standards (ACI, AISC, IBC, OSHA) and project-specific requirements. Reporting: Prepare clear estimate summaries, cost reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's or professional certifications preferred). Experience: 1015 years of civil & structural estimation experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industries, covering both Greenfield and brownfield projects. Technical Skills: oProficiency in estimating tools and advanced MS Excel oFamiliarity with AutoCAD/BIM software oStrong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry codes Soft Skills: oStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities oExcellent communication and teamwork oDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Effective negotiation and interpersonal capabilities.
