Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities - Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. - Guide and coach AI teams in agile principles, promoting self-organization and accountability. - Act as a servant leader and coach to the development team, product owners, and stakeholders. - Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress or performance. - Track and manage team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.), providing regular updates to stakeholders. - Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed, prioritized backlog. - Drive continuous improvement across the team through retrospectives and data-driven feedback loops. - Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and ownership within AI-focused projects. - Support the adoption and evolution of agile frameworks tailored to the unique needs of AI development (e.g., research spikes, model training delays, experimental feedback loops). - Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and agile teams across the organization to ensure alignment and dependencies are managed. Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments. - Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). - Experience working with cross-functional tech teams, preferably in AI/ML or data science-focused environments. - Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision. - Experience using agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps). Preferred Qualifications - Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM, etc.). - Prior experience working in AI, machine learning, or research-heavy product teams. - Familiarity with the AI development lifecycle (data pipelines, model experimentation, training, evaluation, deployment). - Background in software engineering, data science, or related technical field is a plus.
