Position Line Incharge - SPD 1 Mechanical Maintenance SGL SHM-3 4 PTF - 5 6 8 Location Hisar Department Mechanical Maintenance - SPD 1 Company Jindal Stainless LimitedRole Overview The Line Incharge - SPD 1 Mechanical Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring smooth mechanical operations maintenance planning and reliability improvement for SPD 1 lines including SGL SHM-3 4 and PTF lines 5 6 8 The role focuses on preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance with strong emphasis on equipment uptime safety compliance and team leadership Key Responsibilities1 Equipment Line MaintenanceOversee mechanical maintenance of Pull-Through Furnace Slitting Line Cold Rolling Mill and Strip Grinding Line SGL Execute preventive predictive and condition-based maintenance CBM to enhance equipment reliability Lead and supervise shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities with minimum downtime Perform effective troubleshooting of mechanical faults and ensure timely rectification 2 Technical ExpertiseApply strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in maintenance activities Demonstrate sound knowledge of annealing processes Cold Rolling Division processes and detailed technical aspects of SGL operations Ensure adherence to equipment technical specifications and operational standards 3 Spare Management DocumentationManage critical and consumable spares inventory ensuring optimal stock availability Maintain and update maintenance records checklists and equipment history Ensure compliance with ISO documentation requirements and audit readiness 4 Safety Compliance Process ImprovementMonitor EOT crane maintenance and ensure safe and compliant operation Implement best practices Kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance operations Ensure safe working practices and adherence to all safety protocols across the teams 5 Team Leadership CoordinationHandle workforce allocation skill development and performance monitoring of maintenance manpower Coordinate with production electrical instrumentation and other cross-functional teams for smooth operation Support planning and execution of shutdown schedules and equipment upgrades Qualifications ExperienceDiploma B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance preferably in a steel cold rolling processing line environment Hands-on experience with SGL cold rolling mills PTF SHM or related equipment preferred Key SkillsMechanical troubleshooting maintenance Hydraulic pneumatic systems ISO documentation audit knowledge CBM breakdown shutdown planning Spare parts inventory management EOT crane maintenance Team handling coordination Process knowledge annealing cold rolling SGL operations Competencies Analytical problem-solving Decision-making under pressure Safety quality mindset Leadership and team management Continuous improvement approach Job Snapshot Updated Date 17-11-2025 Job ID Job 2416 Department SPD 1 Mech Maint SGL SHM-3 4 PTF - 5 6 8 Location Hisar Haryana India Experience 4 - 6 Years
