IndiaReports To Accounts Receivable ManagerPosition OverviewThe Collections Analyst will be working in a shared services environment and will be responsible for research analysis and collection of overdue accounts This position works closely with internal and external business partners to meet the goals and tasks assigned in an ever-changing business environment This individual is responsible for assisting in the design implementation and deployment of policies and procedures as well as streamlining current collection processes The successful candidate will be customer creative and solution oriented while delivering timely and high-quality results and able to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives This is a remote position Job Responsibilities Ensure timely collection of invoices and routine follow-up of assigned accounts providing a high level of professionalism in all communications Work in conjunction with sales and client services teams to manage the client accounts and deliver top quality customer service to both internal and external business partners Research contracts past emails payments and other documentation to ensure all knowledge of the client matter is understood prior to beginning collection efforts Research short-payments and unapplied cash and follow through with appropriate measures as required to bring the issue to closure Research and reporting of payment history as requested by client or Epiq personnel Assist in the creation of collections process documentation as needed Provide specialized custom reporting specific to clients on a monthly or adhoc basis Trend analysis of accounts to understand payment frequency billing submission status and overall health of the account Qualifications and Skills 5 years experience working in a business to business collections environment Excellent attention to detail Strong problem solving and analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong customer focus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment Demonstrated capability to analyze business processes Independent thinker with high initiative Able to work in stressful situations Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred SAP experience ideal but not required Speak and understand clearly for phone calls Be able to make international phone calls Critical and analytical thinking This is very important for this position Will need to be able to take action on whatever the client is providing in the email Will need to be able to determine which internal team they should loop in depending on what their issue concern is Be able to research and analyze payments bank statements checks wire different currencies etc Research and review an Epiq contract sow quote to determine the terms and who the financially liable party is Has experience working US accounts Understands currencies date formats dollar amounts verbiage Is able to multitask priorities We have a lot of things going at one time and it can be very overwhelming to anyone that cannot take on multiple tasks Be able to analyze all data related to a customer account and know the correct action to take based on the circumstances We have had issues in the past of customers mentioning services issues being on a payment plan or asking for help but the analyst doesnt understand and keeps sending a regular email ignoring the customers concerns This can create business relationship issues Special
