DESCRIPTION The Consumables QA organization manages quality assurance and release management for all customer-facing features across Everyday Essentials Tech We seek a Quality Assurance Engineer QAE to work on core system architecture You will collaborate with managers and engineers to design and build test plans and cases while providing input to ensure high-quality product development As a QAE you will plan design and automate various components across web front-ends and service back-ends Our quality engineering team uses open-source technologies to build automation tools and test frameworks for robust scalable and reliable automation Key job responsibilities Implementing quality assurance best practices Creating excellent user experiences Contributing significantly to technical projects Taking ownership to complete tasks effectively Innovation and process simplification Data-driven decision making Automation of manual processes Continuous learning and knowledge sharing About the team We are Consumables QA org and our mission is creating effortless everyday shopping experience for our customers by ensuring software quality accelerating product delivery through tools and automation supporting our tech teams to increase feature velocity and driving strategic program delivery BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2 years of quality assurance engineering experience - Experience in automation testing - Experience in manual testing - Experience in UI and API automation testing Selenium SOAPUI - Bachelor s degree - Knowledge of QA methodology and tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in API Mobile testing - Experience designing and planning test conditions test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control - Knowledge of software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle including agile software development use of software IDEs use of source control - Knowledge of Java Perl or Python based automation Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
