Looking for challenging role If you really want to make a difference - make it with us Can we energize society and fight climate change at the same time At Siemens Energy we can Our technology is key but our people make the difference Brilliant minds innovate They connect create and keep us on track towards changing the world s energy systems Their spirit fuels our mission Our culture is defined by caring agile respectful and accountable individuals We value excellence of any kind Sounds like you We make real what matters This is your role Complete responsibility to design and develop Global HVDC FACTS AC Substation Layouts projects Reading understanding of contractual and customer requirements and implementation of same 3D Modeling planning of HV Equipment arrangement in Outdoor AC DC Transformer Yards inside buildings e g converter hall as per SLD Electrical magnetic Safety clearance busbar sag tension requirement design 3D modeling planning of equipment arrangement inside Control building Outdoor cooler area Transformer yard Storage building area Proactive Clash checking coordination interdisciplinary of day-to-day basis resolution Input identification coordination follow-ups that deems necessary for 3D modeling planning providing inputs to other disciplines for interfacing point of view 3D planning adaptation and updating as per other disciplines development Prepare coordinate 2D General layout dwgs of AC DC Trafo yards building wise layout Prepare coordinate 2D Earthing layout that includes foundation Indoor and Outdoor Earthing Prepare coordinate 3D lightning protection model as per study need develop 2D drawing Prepare coordinate detailed Installation drawings of HV equipment update clamp 3D modeling Preparation of load overview load point calculations drawings Earthing embedded parts input to civil for foundations steel structure design to fulfill fixing supporting grounding need Read and implement HV and LV Equipment drawings Commenting for any missing inputs i e fixing loads and grounding coordination for development of 3D layouts and drawing preparation Reactor Capacitor Surge Arresters Current Transformers Potential Transformers Circuit breakers Isolator Wall bushing Insulator Cubicle Cooling Skid etc Prepare busbar sizing report SAG tension calculation and post insulator cantilever strength calc Proactive identify issues contact with different stakeholder to achieve project centric solution Interdisciplinary coordination and achieve area wise design freeze status with different disciplines Time schedule planning management of own deliverables pulling commenting inputs aligning input dates to achieve own deliverables Quality checks and management of own deliverables from technical and drafting point of view Hour s management coordination of additional hours requirements for own deliverables due to late inputs outputs Coordinate with different stake holders to develop optimized solutions plan to achieve project centric solutions target dates Living Siemens core values of safety and integrity which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business We don t need superheroes just super minds A bachelor s degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related discipline 5-10 years experience in Substation projects Very Good experience in Substation - Layout planning interdisciplinary co-ordination Very good experience in developing General layouts Earthing drawings Erection key diagrams Very good understanding of HV equipment drawings implantation coordination for layouts Knowledge exposure of Standards IEC IEEE CBIP manual etc Openness willing to learn and develop 3D substation layout planning Exposure to Autodesk tools- Inventor Revit AutoCAD Navisworks will be added advantage We ve got quite a lot to offer How about you This role is based in Gurgaon where you ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities countries - and the shape of things to come We re Siemens A collection of over 379 000 minds building the future one day at a time in over 200 countries We re dedicated to equality and we welcome applications that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in All employment decisions at Siemens are based on qualifications merit and business need Bring your curiosity and imagination and help us shape tomorrow Find out more about Siemens careers at
