Job Category Corporate Security About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Job Purpose To execute and operationalize security automation projects and initiatives ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies across business units The role focuses on aligning with the Automation Head s strategic directives to enhance security efficiency and system performance JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Automation Specialist Strategic Roles and Responsibilities Translate the Adani strategic objectives into detailed project plans for site-level and business unit implementation Align Automation Efforts Ensure that all project activities align with the Group Security Strategy and automation roadmap Provide actionable insights and updates to the Leadership on the effectiveness and progress of automation initiatives at group level and across businesses Execute security automation projects in compliance with organizational policies governance frameworks and regulatory requirements at corporate and across different businesses Security Technology Automation Implement advanced automation systems such as CCTV access control intrusion alarms and other security technologies across sites Systems Optimization Ensure the integration and compatibility of new technologies with existing infrastructure to maximize efficiency Regularly monitor the functionality of deployed security technologies addressing issues promptly and escalating unresolved challenges to the Automation Head Innovation Implementation Identify and deploy technology innovations as directed by the Automation Head ensuring alignment with operational needs Project Management Execute detailed project plans as outlined by the Automation Head ensuring alignment with timelines budgets and quality standards Track and report project milestones identifying delays or risks and recommending solutions to the Automation Head Collaborate with internal teams including IT and site operations to facilitate seamless project execution Coordinate training sessions for site teams to ensure smooth adoption and operation of deployed systems Partner Selection Engagement Support the Business teams in evaluating selecting and onboarding technology partners by providing site-level requirements and feedback Monitor vendor performance during project execution escalating issues or non-compliance to the Automation Head Maintain ongoing relationships with partners to ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards during the operational phase Provide input to the Automation Head on partner performance for continuous improvement and strategic alignment Research Innovation Stay abreast with the new trends latest technologies new and advanced automation systems applications and advanced equipment to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani Adapt the latest trends to Adani context in order to build a better integrated innovative and more efficient security technology ecosystem Key Stakeholders - External Law Enforcement Agencies Third Party Service Providers Security Agencies Emergency Response Services Government Regulatory Bodies Legal Consultant Industry Asscociations and Security Forums Vendor and Solution Providers System Integrators Audit Firms Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities Strategic Roles and Responsibilities Strategy Initiatives Engage with the business security team to understand their security technology requirements and subsequent automation needs Support in designing the automation initiatives aligned to the Group Security Strategy Roadmap to improve the gaps identified through diagnostic tests Manage the execution of the automation and technology projects at the Corporate BU Site level Security Budgeting Provide support in collecting and analysing cost data for monetary evaluations of proposed projects through cost analysis budget estimation and ROI analysis Monitor adherence to project budgets through continuous review Address budget overruns deficit if any Security Technology Automation Research Innovation Stay abreast with the new trends latest technologies new and advanced automation systems applications and advanced equipment to continually improve the Security infrastructure at Adani Adapt the latest trends to Adani context in order to build a better integrated innovative and more efficient security technology ecosystem Systems Design Support in formulating policy framework and matrices for updating Security Automation equipment and applications Manage the execution of the organisation-wide diagnostic tests to evaluate the maturity of security processes Identify technological interventions to drive process excellence Prepare design documents for Security Systems and validate from domain lead Manage the procurement of the required automation initiative Gather site business requirements and align the Security systems including CCTV System Access Control System Intruder Alarm System and Building Management Systems with the stated requirements Project Management Project Execution Coordinate with respective partner and internal stakeholders to drive the automation projects in a collaborative and time-bound manner Lead execution of all phases of the project at the site-level Deploy the new systems and applications and facilitate training sessions in collaboration with the technology partner at the sites to ensure seamless adoption Project Governance Monitor adherence of the project to the group-defined frameworks Monitor the progress of the projects on pace of execution to ensure timely execution of the projects Participate in technology evaluation meetings to discuss relevance of current systems and applications Partner Selection Engagement Prepare the Request for Information RFI document to be circulated to potential partners Evaluate quotes shortlist and submit proposals to the Head of Technology for finalizing Manage contracting processes to get the select partner on board Track partner performance and conduct timely reviews to ensure quality timelines and budgetary considerations Escalate instances of non-performances Cultivate strategic relationships with partners and effectively leverage them for value additions to Adani Key Interactions Internal External Partner with IT Team to deliver automation or technology enhancement projects Interact with technology partners and build strategic relationships with them Key Result Areas KRAs Key Performance Indicators KPIs KRA KPI Driving Strategy Business Excellence adherence to timelines to deploy automation project of automation initiatives implemented vs plan Financial Excellence cost savings achieved through automation initiatives adherence to budget timelines for automation project budget adherence to project budget Security Automation improvement in process maturity achieved through automation initiatives No of automation projects implemented in the financial year Project Management adherence to the project plan Partner management Partners with high performance rating Score Partner satisfaction score Qualifications Educational Qualification Bachelor s degree in Business Management or relevant field Postgraduate degree in relevant field Preferable to have Certifications including Certified Protection Professional CPP Certified Fraud Examiners CFE Transported Asset Protection Association TAPA certification Physical Security Professional PSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP Industrial Security professional certifications Experiences More than 6 years of work experience in technology and automation with minimum 3 years in a similar role Rich experience of designing technology and automation interventions Hands-on experience with designing and executing medium large-scale automation projects Familiarity with end-to-end security operations including Access Control Traffic Management Patrolling Surveillance Control Room Operations Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders -
