Job Description Description We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team in Zirakpur. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a welcoming atmosphere while managing the front desk operations efficiently. Responsibilities - Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office - Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office - Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls - Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, brochures) - Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email - Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries - Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk - Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as necessary - Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and scheduling appointments Skills and Qualifications - Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (1-2 years) - Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and fax machines - Knowledge of office management systems and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise - Professional attitude and appearance - Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software
