About the Role:

Were seeking a highly skilled AI Developer to support the development of ASafe Globals intelligent digital assistant, designed to simplify, automate, and safeguard operational systems across compliance, audits, safety, and quality workflows. This role will involve building the backend and AI engine of the application, ensuring data security, and delivering a robust and user-friendly tool. After the initial development phase, the candidate may be retained for ongoing updates, fixes, and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop AI-powered features that drive process automation and support better decision-making across the application.
- Implement natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models that align with operational workflows and real-world use cases.
- Develop a secure, scalable, and high-performance backend that supports the AI functionality and overall system reliability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate user requirements into functional, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Manage the full development cycle, including testing, debugging, and deployment, while meeting established project timelines.
- Ensure security of app and personal user information across various industries.
- Stay available after deployment to address any bugs, perform updates, and continuously improve the application based on feedback and evolving needs.

Key Qualifications:

- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, with proven experience building smart assistants, automation tools, or related systems.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar.
- Experience working with NLP, machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and API integrations.
- Strong grasp of data security best practices and experience implementing them in real-world applications is vital.
- Comfort working independently and driving delivery in a fast-paced, focused environment.
- Bonus: Experience in compliance or EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) related tools.
- Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken) is essential.
