Job Description Company Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary Job function: - Storage team is looking for smart, innovative, and motivated individual to join the team to work on design and development in C/C++/Python language. Having knowledge in Linux kernel is an added advantage. - Candidate will be working closely with cross-functional teams - hardware, software, and product/test engineering etc. - in design and improvements of storage hardware modules and software stack. Responsibilities - Development of software stack for storage technologies and filesystems on Qualcomm multiprocessor platforms - Work with internal and external teams to design and implement new features. - Work closely with low-level device drivers software folks for storage devices - Support the team with failure triage, system debug, clear email communication, and customer support Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's (or) Master's degree in ECE, CSE, EEE - 1-3 years of experience with embedded systems Principal Duties And Responsibilities - Strong knowledge on designing and development of a Linux kernel drivers - Embedded device driver development for ARM processors - Good embedded C programming - Good Debugging skills - Flexibility to work across different technologies and teams - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Good understanding of basic real-time/embedded programming concepts & real time operating systems concepts - Knowledge and experience in RTOS - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills - Familiarity with parallel-processing concepts such as threads, signals, priorities, semaphores, mutexes, race-conditions, deadlocks, etc. - 1-3 years of experience with embedded systems - Must be proficient in C / C++ / Python - Good understanding of microprocessor, multiprocessor architecture.
