Job Description Maxwell GeoSystems is an innovative SaaS company whose technology allows civil engineering professionals to generate state of the art reports and acquire real-time information throughout the entire project management process. This is revolutionary software, replacing outdated Excel reporting and a real market-defining company in the industry. We have created a world-leading software system (MissionOS) for the display and interpretation of construction data. We have been driving digitalization in the ground engineering industry for the past 18 years. The company is seeking an Instructional Designer/ Technical Writer to join the team. Available Vacancy : 1 Office Location : Marine Drive, Kochi. Experience : 2-5 years The company is seeking an outstanding, experienced professional to join the team as anInstructional Designer/ Technical Writer. The personwill be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting eLearning courses, walkthroughs, tutorials, and blended learning contentthat clearly explain our product functionalities, workflows, and use cases. This role combines instructional design and technical writing expertise creating engaging training materials as well as precise, user-friendly documentation. The position involves close collaboration with product experts, project engineers, and the training content teamto translate complex technical concepts into interactive learning experiences and comprehensive reference content that support both internal users and clients. Key Responsibilities - Design and developtraining modules, eLearning courses, and simulationson our product instances (MissionOS). - Createinstructional materialssuch as scripts, storyboards, video walkthroughs, infographics, and assessments. - Work closely withsubject matter expertsto analyze learning needs and define course objectives. - Developinteractive contentusing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent LMS-authoring platforms. - Ensure courses are aligned with Maxwell GeoSystemsbranding and learning standards. - Manage and maintain courses in theMGS Learn LMSenvironment (e.g., MGSLearn, MGSEmployee, MGSservices portals). - Evaluate learner feedback and improve existing content accordingly. - Stay updated onbest practices in instructional design, adult learning theory, and eLearning trends. - Support video creation for MissionOS walkthroughs and product tutorials. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree inInstructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field. - 25 years of experiencein instructional design or eLearning content creation (preferably in technology or engineering domains). - Experience withLMS platformsand content management systems. - Excellent communication and writing skills to explain technical concepts clearly. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with global teams.
