Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Akamai SME to lead the configuration, monitoring, and automation of CDN and tooling systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Akamai CDN, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and DevOps tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, manage alerts, and optimize performance across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure application and web transaction monitoring using Akamai tools.
- Create customized reports and manage alert definitions.
- Integrate auto-ticketing systems and manage different views/templates.
- Install, configure, and customize tooling systems to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot tooling-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation and best practices.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend tooling enhancements.

Technical Expertise:

- Strong knowledge of Akamai CDN and web performance optimization.
- Experience with HashiCorp Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with AWX, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.
- Experience with tooling systems and configuration management.
