which means some of the biggest in the world Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients You re in a technical leadership role uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients governance and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client You ll be there from the start of a project understanding what s needed and figuring out the best technical solution And you ll be there at the finish delivering the right product on time and within budget As an Infrastructure Architect you ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience This is a technical leadership role so we want you to bring your vision knowledge and leadership to each project To the client you re the subject matter expert - naturally inclusive in how you work with others Required Skills and Experience 10 Years of Experience in Mainframe Storage Administration Storage box data migration DASD to DASD and Tape to tape and Storage replication Analyze and research options for collaborates with exiting external systems Root Cause Analysis preparation and meeting Service level agreement for submission Develop document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup restore performance tuning and configuration of environments as well as incremental backups as required Initialize add new DASD volumes and Add new tape volumes Perform the space management activities such as VTOC resizing Defrag Compress Reclaim Release Cleaning of datasets Manage and Define SMS rules and ACS routines along with reorganization of storage dataset RMM HSM CDS Catalog file Disaster recovery planning and performing the recovery test Tape recovery DASD Replication Tape Replication and Managing the Copy services GDPS Problem determination and resolution within expected time frame Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running Aid with identifying problem management trends Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field SME for MF Storage administration problem determination Technical guidance to the team Experience supporting high availability infrastructure operations and implementing improving disaster recovery Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future system software requirements to meet the organization s needs Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to Storage Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from it s how we think and who we are We welcome people of all cultures backgrounds and experiences But we re not doing it single-handily Our Kyndryl Inclusion Networks are only one of many ways we create a workplace where all Kyndryls can find and provide support and advice This dedication to welcoming everyone into our company means that Kyndryl gives you -
