Job Description

- Scaling and Polishing: Removal of plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth to prevent gum disease.
- Root Canal Treatment:
- Diagnose tooth pulp infection or inflammation.
- Remove infected pulp tissue.
- Clean, shape, and disinfect the canal.
- Fill and seal the root canal.
- Place a crown or filling for tooth restoration.
- Cavity Filling & Restoration.
- Tooth Extractions & Minor Oral Surgeries.
- Oral Health Education & Preventive Care.

Nursing Activities (Dental/Clinical Setting)

- Assisting in Dental Procedures (e.g., suction, passing instruments).
- Preparing & Sterilizing Equipment.
- Patient Preparation & Education.
- Monitoring Vital Signs during procedures.
- Post-operative Care & Instructions.
- Maintaining Medical/Dental Records.

Doctor Activities (General Practitioners or Specialists)

- Diagnosis & Treatment Planning based on symptoms and test results.
- Prescribing Medications for infections, pain, etc.
- Referral to Specialists (e.g., Endodontists for root canals).
- Monitoring Chronic Conditions (diabetes, which impacts dental health).
- Providing Anesthesia Clearance for complex dental procedures.
- Patient Counseling & Health Education.
