fast and are looking for an HR Manager who will shape how our people grow, collaborate, and
thrive.
Role Overview
As an HR Manager at Zensciences, you will be responsible for driving employee engagement,
strengthening culture, and enhancing productivity across the organization. You will act as a
custodian of people experience—building programs that balance business outcomes with
employee wellbeing. This is an in-office role in Bangalore (Monday–Friday), ideal for someone
who thrives on face-to-face interactions and can energize teams in a dynamic, startup-like
environment. This is not a conventional HR role. We are looking for a modern people leader
who can bridge systems with culture, hiring with storytelling, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and implement engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, motivation, and retention.
- Partner with leadership to sustain a culture of openness, creativity, and accountability.
- Build recognition programs, offsites, and rituals that reinforce Zensciences’ values.
People Development & Productivity
- Implement frameworks for continuous performance management, goal setting, and feedback.
- Identify skill gaps and drive learning initiatives to upskill teams.
- Develop productivity-enhancing policies and tools that balance work and life
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, growth paths, and exit processes.
- Build lean yet scalable HR systems (policies, HRMS, dashboards) for a growing agency.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
Talent & Retention
- Partner with team leads to understand talent needs and drive hiring strategies.
- Create retention plans for high-performing talent.
- Act as a coach/guide to managers on people-related issues.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5 years of HR experience, ideally with startup/agency/tech-driven environments.
- Strong expertise in employee engagement, culture building, and performance management.
- Hands-on with HR operations and policies, but equally strong in people-first initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic setups.
- Comfortable being present in-office daily to engage directly with teams.
