Python Test Automation Engineer

Description The project involves building and scaling advanced analytics solutions for a leading telecom provider The focus is on leveraging large-scale customer and network data to drive predictive insights optimize operations and enhance user experience A major telecommunications company known for its innovation in mobile services and digital transformation The client operates across millions of users and emphasizes data-driven decision-making and scalable AI solutions Requirements About the Role We are looking for a Senior SDET Lead who is passionate about quality engineering and test automation In this role you will design and implement robust test frameworks lead test automation strategies and ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI CD pipelines You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality through end-to-end testing of both frontend and backend components including web UI and RESTful APIs Key Responsibilities Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases for UI REST APIs and data pipelines across platforms like Databricks ADF and Snowflake Perform data validation at all stages input datasets transformation logic model features predictions and outputs ensuring accuracy and consistency Develop test automation scripts in Python for validating data workflows and machine learning model outputs Conduct API testing using tools such as Advanced REST Client Postman or similar and troubleshoot using browser console and developer tools Collaborate with data scientists ML engineers and data engineers to ensure model testability reproducibility and alignment with business goals Define comprehensive software testing strategies including functional performance regression and security testing Identify and maintain a robust suite of test cases to fully validate code functionality and performance Evaluate and adapt test automation tools to support evolving project needs and optimize testing efforts Conduct threat analysis and prioritize vulnerabilities providing remediation guidance and validating the effectiveness of applied fixes Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices Perform regression testing during deployment cycles to ensure system stability and backward compatibility Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of best practices in quality engineering What You Bring Experience 7 years of experience as an SDET QA Automation Engineer or related role Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers driving best practices in test automation and quality assurance Telecom industry experience is highly preferred Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver Experience with unit testing and test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit Solid experience with REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured Automated Testing with Python PyTest -
